Kristen Watson is the owner and principal Speech Language Pathologist at Essence of Communication Therapy Services, PLLC. A New Orleans native, Ms. Watson relocated to the Houston area after completing her master’s program at Loyola University Maryland, bringing with her a passion for helping others fulfill their personal potential through the power all people contain: their voices.

Ms. Watson has gained experience throughout her career while employed in out-patient rehabilitation centers, home health settings, local public-school systems, teletherapy and skilled nursing facilities. She has been trained in both the Hanen Approach and Beckman Oral Motor methodologies. She is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and island of Guam.

In her spare time, Ms. Watson enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and attending live concerts.
